Infratech Patio Heaters

Electric infrared patio heaters, plus the controls and trim kits that go with them. Get the load and the control sorted before the concrete goes down.

The line

Plan the Circuit Before You Plan the Patio

Infratech heaters are an outdoor-living staple across the Valley and the Westside, and they are one of the few lighting-adjacent products where the electrical planning genuinely has to happen first. These are resistive heaters — the load is real, and it has to be on the panel schedule before anyone pours a patio or closes a soffit.

The second thing people get wrong is control. Heaters can be run from simple on/off, from a timer, or from a variable control that lets you dial output — and the control has to be selected and wired for the specific heater configuration. Deciding that after the units are mounted is expensive.

What We Quote From Infratech

Tell us the covered area, mounting height and how many units you are planning, and we will help you work out the configuration and the control before you commit the circuit. For the panel side of it, see panels and breakers.

Homeowners Ask for These by Name

If you are a contractor, this is a product your clients will name before you do. Knowing you can supply it — and that you have already thought about the circuit — closes the conversation faster.

If you are a homeowner or a designer, come in and talk it through. Mounting height, coverage and finish all interact, and it is a much shorter conversation across a counter than over email.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell Infratech heaters to homeowners?
Yes. We are a wholesale distributor and everyone gets wholesale pricing — contractors, homeowners and designers alike.
What control do I need with an Infratech heater?
It depends on the number of units, how you want to zone them and whether you want variable output. Tell us the layout and we will spec the control with the heaters rather than after.
Do I need a dedicated circuit?
Electric heaters draw real current and the circuit has to be sized for the actual load. Your electrician will size it from the unit's rating — bring us the panel details and we will supply the breaker and gear to match.
Do you stock replacement elements?
We quote replacement elements and accessories from the catalog. Send the model number off the unit.
